MICHELE BERTINI MALGARINI

Michele Bertini Malgarini is a 37-year-old Roman director and screenwriter.

After graduating in History of Art, he began his career in the world of cinema working as an assistant to director Luca Guadagnino. In 2011 he won the 48hours Film Project Italia with the short film Se Riesco Parto. In 2014, with the series L’Amore al Tempo del Precariato, he won the prestigious Solinas Prize, which he produced the following year with Rai Fiction.

In 2016 he won the Rome Web Festival with the pilot “Romolo and Giuly”. In recent years he has made documentaries (In Pecore Pecunia with the Apulia Film Commission), short films (“A Day in the life” produced by the Apulia Film Commission), advertising (Purina, Sky Cinema, Unopiù, Enel Green Power, Aruba) , Universal) and Tv Series (for Sky the “Cosplay Stories” series).
